Khira Gabrielle had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Colombia for 3 years where she learned Spanish as a second language and was introduced to the world of volunteering. At 16 she started as a volunteer for (BBBS) Big Brothers Big Sisters, a non-profit organization that helps children realize their potential and build their futures with the help of mentors from local communities. Her love for working with children grew and since that time she’s been involved in assisting organizations that focus on at-risk kids and youth. Because of her deep love and passion for volunteering, she received scholarships for her education throughout high school and college. In addition to her volunteer work, Khira currently attends The University of Utah pursuing her B.A in psychology and started her own natural organic skincare line. Khira’s aspirations are to help rehabilitate children that have endured past trauma and provide pathways for successful recovery.
